In this video I will discuss how student athletes can be under extreme stress. What does a struggling student look like? Not all students “appear” to be struggling. What is visible to the outside world may look like an excellent athlete with straight A’s, but the reality may be totally different. What you don’t see is a student who has only slept 4 hours, whose anxiety is out of control, and who is only running on caffeine and Cheetos.
Let’s step up and begin the conversation about the importance of taking care of our mental health. Even high performing athletes need our support sometimes.
